AWESOME 14U SELECT - ELITE TEAM TRY OUTS!

The Lonestar Speed, a professional trained and coached team is having an open tryout on Saturday, January 5th2013. (HIGH NOON (rain out date is January 6th)

We are in the Northeast, surrounding Lake Houston, Atascocita, Baytown, Crosby, Lingwood, EMC, Humble, Dayton and have players from all over the 8 county region.

Professional Coaching by Chris Sampson (SEE Lonestar Baseball Academy) brings a unique situation to the SPEED. He was drafted professionally as a shortstop, arguably the most important position in baseball, and then converted to become an Astros professional pitcher. This rarity means he brings not only highly trained pitching skills but also fielding and hitting as well.

The 2013 team will be actively coached by Sampson with backing from his Lonestar baseball academy, Assistant 12 year coach Todd Hanson and 15 year coach Rob Schivley.
Lonestar Speed enjoys a cost free facility and cages at one of the finest pro-sized fields in the county.

If you want your 14 year-old player to advance “positively” as a pitcher,
player and a person then this is the place for you. We are seeking “Elite or high quality Pitchers” to be professionally trained by one of the regions top-pro trainers to round out our 14 year old team. This is a "rare" and "valuable" opportunity for your young pitcher/player to grow at a dramatic and professional pace.
